"TRUE CONVERSION (THE LITTLE GOLDEN PUMPKIN)"

!!Golden: radiant,exceptionally valuable,bright,glorious,joyous.

!!Once upon a time, there sat a little pumpkin in a field.
Surrounded by weeds and covered in dirt not knowing what
God for him willed.

!!He didn't know what to do or know how to become clean.
Not only of the dirt outside, but the icky stuff inside him unseen.

!!He knew there was a way to be clean, a way to be saved.
But no one ever told him, so that's how he always behaved.

!!The one day someone came by and saw him sitting there alone.
They lifted him up with a smile and carried him to their home.

!!The little pumpkin was cleared of the weeds around him.
He had the dirt washed off but inside still icky to the brim.

!!The one who saved him from the field went to his kitchen for a knife.
Cut the pumpkin open and started digging out the stuff that caused him strife.

!!But laying aside the seeds to take back to the field and plant.
So they will grow into more pumpkins to be cleaned, not knowing how so they can't.

!!After cleaning the little pumpkin inside and out that night.
They carved him a face with a smile so he could have clear sight.

!!A candle was placed inside him and at that moment he became bright.
Shining with radiance and glorious joy came from him a light.

!!After being cleaned and given a light he realized all of a sudden.
"I'm clean and the icky stuff is gone, I have a light inside that shines, I'm Golden!"

++ But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets,
that Christ should suffer, he hath so fullfilled.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the
times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you;
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God
hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

!!God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to do this very thing that was done for the
little pumpkin! Jesus was sent to save us from our sin. Jesus did his part fully and the
Bible tells us that we are to do our part. First we must believe that God sent his son,
Jesus Christ to die on the cross, second we must believe that after Jesus was crucified
God raised him back to life 3 days later, third we must believe that after Jesus rose back
from death he ascended back to heaven to sit at the right hand of God, fourth we must
believe that Jesus will return one day to take those who truly believe and have lived a
Holy and Righteous life back to heaven with him to live for eternity. Once we truly
believe these things in that order, then we are to accept Jesus as our personal Lord and
Saviour by asking Jesus to come inside your heart, mind, and spirit and clean all the
icky stuff, which is sin, out of us. We must experience true conversion(change)!! We must
die to our old self and be reborn into a new person. Though we will slip up by sinning
from time to time once we experience true conversion in which the Holy Spirit will
immediately convict us of that sin to repent (ask forgiveness), we are to turn completely
away from sinning willfully or on purpose over and over and over again.

Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a
soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

!!Once we are truly converted from our old self, the light of Jesus Christ will shine so bright
in us from the inside, out so bright and radiant that others will be drawn to the cross and
the saving blood of Jesus Christ!! When we have this golden light of Jesus, we are to plant
seeds in other non-believers for the Holy Spirit to cause to grow for them to accept Christ
as their saviour and reach true conversion. Then as each person reaches true conversion,
they go and plant their seeds back into the field (world) for the Holy Spirit to grow and
make them clean and golden!!

++This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is
light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and are not
practicing the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and
the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

!!True salvation from eternal damnation in hell only comes when one has true conversion!!

!!Clearly in the poem above about the little pumpkin, there has to be a cleansing to become
clean. Not only on the outside but also on the inside as well. This is the same way that
people are before they accept Jesus Christ as their saviour and allow the Holy Spirit to clean
them on the inside from all their sin (icky stuff). Sin in the eyes of God is willful acts that
are against the Word of God, both physical and those of the flesh and in the mind. To name
some physical sin is homosexuality, adultery, idolatry, lying, stealing, cheating,murder,
gossiping etc... and to name some of the sins of the flesh and mind are hatred, jealousy,
greed, coveting, gossip, envy etc......

!! ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN IN THE EYES OF GOD REGARDLESS OF
HOW YOU SUGAR COAT IT!!

!! EVEN QUENCHING THE SPIRIT AND SOWING DISCORD AND DIVISION IS
A SIN!!

dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than
the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one
toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves
that reward of their error which was due.

Without understanding, covenant-breakers, heartless, implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the judgement of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of
death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

++Unless you allow the blood of Jesus to cleanse you of all your sins and unrighteousness
completely by turning away from that sin with true repentance and conversion, you will remain
separated from God. It takes true repentance to receive the salvation that Jesus died on the
cross for. Jesus did his part so you must do your part. You can't truly have salvation from
eternal damnation if you continue to willfully commit the same sins over and over and over
again. If you have true repentance then there will be a true conversion (change) in your
lifestyle and ways of doing and thinking. Sin separates you from God. It takes true repentance
to be saved from eternal damnation which is Salvation! (Conversion: spiritual change from
sinfulness to righteousness.)

!! IS IT POSSIBLE TO BELIEVE IN GOD AND JESUS BUT NOT HAVE SALVATION?!!

!! YES!! --- that is why it is so very important to understand sin. EVEN SATAN BELIEVES IN
GOD AND JESUS AND THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!! and look where he is at -- HELL!
Yes, Jesus died on the cross for our sins. That was his part! We MUST do our part by reaching
TRUE CONVERSION. We must die to our old self and be reborn as a new person in our mind,
heart, spirit and in our physical actions.

!! The blood of Jesus does the same for us as the one who picked up the little pumpkin in the
poem. The little pumpkin was lifted up, taken home, cleaned up on the outside, and had all of
the icky stuff scooped out from the inside. When we ask God for salvation, we must ask God
for forgiveness of our sin and truely repent showing true conversion. Once all of the icky stuff
(SIN) is gone from the inside of us, then the light of Jesus will have room to shine and make us
golden. Other people will see the light of Jesus shining through us! Once we have the light of
Jesus, it is our responsibility to plant seeds in other peoples (non-believers,backsliders etc..)
lives for the Holy Spirit to make grow into another converted new person. They too can become
clean. If we truely have the light of Jesus in us, we will be eager and want to plant those seeds
for others to experience true repentance, true conversion and receive true salvation. The light of
Jesus will shine through us so bright and golden that it will cause others to draw to that light.
They will be in awe and want this light!!
